About ALF Enterprises

ALF Enterprises (ALFE) is the commercial division of the Adept Living Foundation (ALF) CIC that aims to create funds for ALF's good works. ALF does this by providing Mental Wellbeing and Awareness, Policy Development, Training and Peer Coaching to other organisations. With a combined background in Senior Director positions, Entrepreneurship, and Psychological Interventions, the Directors and staff of ALFE are well placed to promote the People and Business matters programme which ensures that staff are suitably healthy, motivated, and purposefully focused to meet business objectives. ALFE promotes the importance of purposeful living, meaningful work, and social development for the meeting of economic, and organisational objectives. This is because, meaning and purpose, together with social cohesion, leads to successful communities. ALFE has had the privilege of supporting both large organisations (Department of Work & Pensions) and small organisations (Disability Resource Centre). What ALFE particularly excels at is a) Training frontline staff to suitably manage clients and staff with Mental Health challenges, b) Peer Supervision and Coaching of staff for dynamic an effective performance, c) Developing Peer Coaches. ALF CIC exists to a) To advocate and research quality peer support for community, business and personal development through Herts & Beds, b) To develop best practice through peer support training supervisors, coaches, mentors and confidents to support organisations, groups & individuals, c) To provide opportunities for those in need of MH peer support to have access to peer support groups, coaches, mentors and confidants, d) To facilitate Intentional Peer Support Groups on Addiction, Trauma and Life Stress, e) To deliver regular Resilience programs for those wanting to get back into purposeful occupation and those wishing to remain there.
