About Alfred's Upholstery &

We believe in following time-honored approaches to our work, as well as keeping up with modern innovation. Both Rebecca and Troy are master upholsterers with 40 years of shared experience between them. In 1997, Alfred’s Upholstery was given as a wedding gift to them from Rebecca’s grandparents, John and Jane Folsom. They started out with one sewing machine, a passion to create timeless things and a measure of natural talent which they have now grown to 11 craftspeople and a 10,000 sq. ft. facility in Alfred, Maine. For us, furnishing yacht interiors, building custom furniture and creating tailored upholstery is about superior quality, design and function. Detail is approached from an artistic standpoint, without losing sight of style, comfort and value. This is the keystone of our craft. Troy & Rebecca Delano
