The Algarve International team of Directors together possess more than fifty years of teaching experience. Experience that emanates from a varied cross section of the academic, creative and pastoral aspects of education. As a bespoke community school AIS are simply offering an alternative experience to the big corporate schools. An outstanding alternative. Algarve International classes only have a maximum of twelve children per year group. This in itself points to a massive advantage concerning the attention given to each student, the rate of learning, the full covering of the yearly curriculum and most importantly the time given by our teachers to understand each student. There is no one size fits all when it comes to the education of children. At AIS the teachers want to get to know each student, to recognise and be fully aware of their strengths and weaknesses in and outside of the classroom. Our responsibility is to educate, inspire and encourage each individual pupil to reach their potential.
