About Alice Code - leadership and technology for girls and young women
Alice Code - leadership and technology for girls and young women. AliceCode community is located in Israel and invites girls ages 9-12 to join the professional girls community. As a result of the precise, employment-oriented training that our organization offers, within a decade, you will see our graduated young women working in high-tech companies in technological positions in the full range of technology employment in Israel and worldwide. The program is based upon the cyclical track of the educational curricula, starting from fourth grade. It provides the participants with both short-term and long-term horizons, enabling the program graduates to achieve smooth integration into the high-tech and technological employment world. The AliceCode program is an empowering experience - mentally, emotionally, and practically. The program creates a professional community in the software and entrepreneurship field. All the while, it enables the participants to develop and polish personal skills such as public speaking and presentation, teamwork, creativity, instruction and counseling skills, and leadership and management ability. AliceCode students participate with great success in technological events and competitions, alongside software engineers - and their work is evaluated on an equal basis with that of seasoned professionals, without any concessions given for age or gender.
