In the early 90's, Dan and Pam Thorn started Thorn Heating and Cooling along with their son Brian. For most of those years the focus of the business was installing equipment and ductwork in new homes. In 2010 Pete Katschke started Total Comfort NWI with a strict focus on high quality service and Premium replacements. Pete's business grew steadily until purchasing Thorn Heating and Cooling in 2015. With a desperate shortage of skilled HVAC experts, Pete made the investment in a 4.5 Acre Office and training campus centrally located on Route 30 in Valparaiso. Building on our legacy of technical excellence and customer satisfaction. In 2021 we launch our new brand, ALL-STAR SERVICE. Trust us for your Heating, Cooling, and Electric needs.
