Through a full calendar of programs and events, the Chamber supports business and community growth, providing educational and marketing opportunities to its members. The Chamber also provides referrals and resource information in response to public inquiries for housing, relocation, and commercial developments. The Allegany County Chamber serves businesses and individuals in order to promote and create economic success in Allegany County. Our Vision The Chamber will continue as a leader in the development of the community and as an active, visible and inclusive organization serving its members. The Chamber develops and promotes its positions concerning business and community issues through annual goals and activities. Mission Statement The following mission statements serve as the basis for the Chamber’s involvement and action through its Board of Directors, committees, membership and staff. Function as an organization that attends to challenging matters, which impact the advancement of businesses and the community. Act as a force to bring about positive change. Promote matters of change openly, objectively and reasonably. Nurture a spirit of deliberate review. Continue participating proactively in significant community issues including arranging forums for input, study, review, and consensus building. Provide leadership and assemble the resources to accomplish various tasks consistent with its position.
