About Allergy NZ

Allergy New Zealand is a national not-for-profit organisation whose primary role is to provide information, education and support to the many thousands of New Zealanders living with allergies, including those at risk of anaphylaxis. We have the advice and support of a medical panel, which is made up of allergy specialists, nurses and dietitians, in order to provide members with the most up to date allergy information. We also provide guidance to health and education providers and to the hospitality industry. Allergy NZ members have access to a wide variety of information on allergies and anaphylaxis through the Allergy NZ website, the Allergy Today Magazine, seminars and national support groups. "Allergy Awareness Week" is our annual profile raising and fundraising event. Examples of our 2011 Awareness campaign "Food Allergies - they're no picnic" can be found on our website.
