The Alliance for Global Security (AGS) was founded to address the growing security challenges faced by subnational leaders and their communities. In today’s world, threats such as cybercrime, hybrid warfare, economic coercion, and transnational repression increasingly impact local governments. AGS equips leaders with the tools, knowledge, and networks to safeguard their communities while upholding democratic values. Through innovative programs, AGS fosters collaboration, builds resilience, and strengthens connections between local action and global security. By uniting leaders from the Americas, Europe, and the Indo-Pacific, AGS addresses shared challenges and reinforces solidarity. Core Objectives: 1. Annual Security Conference: Launching in February 2026, this event will bring together subnational officials from around the globe. The conference will focus on: • Tactical Threats: Addressing cybercrime, human asset targeting, and foreign-driven illegal activities. • Strategic Context: Connecting local challenges to adversaries’ broader geopolitical goals. • Collaboration: Building trust among leaders to foster collective responses to shared threats. 2. Global Study Initiatives: AGS organizes annual study visits to key regions like Taiwan, South Korea, Poland, and Romania. These visits deepen leaders’ understanding of global security, foster economic ties, and strengthen political relationships. Inbound programs bring international leaders to North America, creating opportunities for shared learning and collaboration. 3.
