About Alliance For Young Women And Girls
ALLIANCE FOR YOUNG WOMEN AND GIRLS promotes the livelihood and well-being of young women and girls from marginalized communities by providing Leadership and Employability training that leads to careers with upward economic mobility. Alliance for Young Women and Girls has two programs: The Leadership & Employability Training for Women and the Leadership & Employability Training for Girls. Our eight-week Leadership & Employability Training for Women prepares participants for entry-level careers (not jobs). We teach our participants to identify their skills, talents, and upskills. We also teach them to match their talents to diverse careers, such as entry-level careers in business, finance, marketing, logistics, customer service, communication, law, information technology, healthcare, arts, and education. At the end of the training, we assist our participants with entry-level career placement with our partnering employers. The Leadership & Employability Training for Girls, grades k-12, prepare girls for careers in leadership and long-term careers that lead to financial security, emphasizing literacy enrichment. Vision Alliance for Young Women and Girls envisions a world where young women and girls from marginalized communities are no longer marginalized due to inadequate knowledge of accessing diverse careers leading to economic stability.
