We produce an all-round structurally sound pig with outstanding performance. We believe that the foundation of a good pig begins with strong feet, legs and toes. Animals from Alliance Genetics Canada are capable of high production over the long-term. We feel it´s better to consistently work to perfect the genetic base we already have, rather than starting from a new line. In fact, our Yorkshire lines are the product of over 100 years of continuous breeding improvements. Periodic boar viewings are an integral part of our genetic sharing philosophy. Alliance Genetics Canada members get together several times a year to see each other´s best genetics for themselves. By doing so, we not only hold each other accountable to our group´s standards, but also learn through discussion.
