Allied8 is a values-based architecture and planning firm designing and advocating for urban development that supports environmental health, social and economic equity, and thriving communities. We are an interdisciplinary team with a wide range of architectural design expertise across sectors, including multifamily, mixed-use, adaptive reuse, commercial, recreational, institutional, civic and remediation work. Allied8 was formed in 2015 when architects Barbara Busetti and Leah Martin teamed-up to pool talent, resources, and ideas with a shared vision – that beautiful and well-built buildings contribute to the vitality of their neighborhoods by encouraging connections and opportunity. We excel at projects that cross disciplines and require creative problem solving, such as new urban developments and the adaptive reuse of existing buildings. Allied8 also offers planning services as an integral part of its practice, ensuring added value to clients seeking to build relationships between a project and its community. We provide in-depth land use analysis and policy advocacy to both private developers and public clients. Allied8 believes that design is a proactive and inclusive process. The communities we aspire to create cannot be achieved alone or in isolation.
