About ALMA - Association for the Promotion of International Humanitarian Law
ALMA is an apolitical organization which prime objective is promoting knowledge of International Humanitarian Law (IHL) in Israeli society. This will be advanced by exposure and incorporation of the field in both academic and professional circles in Israel. ALMA intends to become an integral part of Israeli and international academia in the field of IHL. To this end, ALMA will create infrastructure of academic forums and discussion, academic publications, academic courses and workshops for students, scholars, practitioners and the general public. ALMA is currently seeking to advance cooperation with academic institutions, NGO’s, and scholars in the field of IHL to promote its goals.
