Al meer dan een halve eeuw presenteert Almaplast (Kontich) zich als dé specialist op het vlak van coating van alle mogelijke objecten in metaal, later ook kunststoffen en MDF. Kwaliteit – met oog voor detail – komt altijd op de eerste plaats en wordt gegarandeerd door een modern machinepark, zowel voor voorbehandeling als voor coating. In het najaar van 2017 werd een nieuwe automatische poederlakstraat (power & free) met ultramoderne poederlakcabine in gebruik genomen. Dankzij deze investering werd de capaciteit van de poederlakafdeling verdubbeld. Het bedrijf vergaarde de voorbije decennia de nodige expertise in oppervlaktebehandeling en kan als flexibele kmo zowel orders van 100.000 stuks als kleine series van 10 stuks aan. Ongeacht de coatingwijze krijgt elk voorwerp een grondige chemische of mechanische voorbehandeling. Vervolgens brengt Almaplast er de coating aan via het procédé van natlakken, poederspuiten of wervelsinteren. Het klantenbestand situeert zich binnen de meest uiteenlopende economische sectoren: de automobielindustrie, de luchtvaart, het openbaar vervoer, de bouw, de medische en farmaceutische apparatuur, de meubelindustrie, de waterwerken, enz. Almaplast is ISO9001-gecertificeerd.
