About Aloft Transitions
208.365.8049 www.alofttransitions.org Aloft Transitions is a residential, life transition program for male and female young adults 18 to 30 years old. Our clients participate in a therapeutic milieu which centers on preparing them for an independent life through life skills coaching, mental health counseling, career training, and educational mentoring. Our aim is to successfully prepare each client for life as an ethical and responsible adult. Aloft focuses on attribute and values development, couched in a framework of relationship building, and mentoring from caring adult mentors. Our supportive and structured environment allows us to individualize our approach with each client according to their individual passions, strengths, needs, and goals. At Aloft, we have three goals that we strive to ensure our students feel, know, and live each day. First, and foremost, we want our students to feel cared about. Secondly, we want our students to feel growth every day, an opportunity to have successes. Lastly, we want our students to feel safe, emotionally and physically. Many young adults struggle launching into independence. Challenges in today’s society can be difficult and overwhelming to navigate successfully. At Aloft Transitions, we have found that a combination of supportive, positive, caring relationships and strength-focused opportunities provide our clients with the tools and experiences to overcome these challenges and achieve increased maturity and personal success. Aloft Transitions is centered on a blend of essential components that are individualized and customized according to each participant’s needs and goals. These components are based on the four hallmarks of authentic maturity: emotional intelligence, character and a sense of ethics, strength discovery, and leadership perspective. These elements are integral to each participant and form the framework for all Aloft programming.
