Our mission is—with true enthusiasm—to bring or renew this love to our customers and to each person who works with us." Alpine Shop is an Independent Specialty Outdoor Retailer that provides World Class Service to our customers by outfitting them with equipment, inspiration and education. What began in 1973 as a small climbing shop in Webster Groves, Missouri, now serves almost every type of outdoor enthusiast from backpackers, hikers, campers, paddlers, and cyclists, to snowboarders and skiers. After over 35 years in the business, it is our vision to see Generations Transformed through Discovery Outdoors. To further this aim, we run educational programs designed to help adventurers of all ages experience the outdoors safely and with greater enjoyment. Not only do we guarantee every product we sell will meet our customers’ standards in the field, but we will also back up those products through in-store repairs and tunes when possible, and hassle-free returns when needed. Finally, we understand that developing this love for the outdoors requires a community, not just one store. Alpine Shop wholeheartedly supports other area organizations dedicated to the preservation of—and access to—our wild places, and to experiential education in the outdoors.
