About Alscot Estate
A thriving & diverse country Estate set rurally within almost 4,000 acres of Warwickshire countryside, situated just 4 miles south of Stratford upon Avon and headed by Emma Holman-West. Alscot passed into Emma’s family in 1747, when it was purchased by James West, MP and Joint Secretary to the Exchequer, who bought Alscot Park to house his wonderful collection of art. Emma is the ninth generation West to call Alscot Park home, a magnificently preserved Grade I Rococo gothic style house set in stunning parkland and countryside surroundings. Through innovation and leadership Alscot has adapted and changed to suit 21st century needs, and those of the local community and surrounding area. Today, Alscot offers a wide range of commercial opportunities. The Estate’s portfolio includes 125 residential properties and 140 business premises, ranging from 100 sq. ft. to 150,000 sq. ft. and comprises offices, studios, workshops, warehouses, industrial and manufacturing space, all with ample car parking and close to major transport links, and in turn employing over 1000 people on site. Other commercial opportunities include farming & grazing land, fishing, serviced offices, virtual office space, TV, film and photography location services and luxury holiday accommodation - Stay at Alscot. In 2020 Alscot entered into a landmark Biodiversity Offsetting Project, one of the first ventures of its kind in the UK. Alscot now offers Biodiversity Net Gain credits to developers. Woodland and Forestry is managed in house. In 2011 Emma was awarded the Bledisloe Gold Medal for Landowners by the Royal Agriculture Society of England. The prestigious medal is awarded to a landowner who has demonstrated outstanding achievement in the successful management and development of a rural estate in England. Alscot Park is not open for public viewing, but on occasions the house and garden is open for exclusive tours, charity events and business seminars.
