Altachem nv, established in 1992 and located in Harelbeke (Belgium) is the world leader in the development and production of: •Specialty Aerosol valves for One Component and Two Component Polyurethane Foam and viscous products •NBS Foam Applicators (Foam Guns) and dispensing systems •Specialty Chemicals used in OCF formulations Since 1998, we realised a continuous growth of 20% per year with a total sales of over 22 mio Euro (2013). Altachem is the sole producer of valves able to offer a unique total package of products and services to our clients, our cooperation partners. Altachem develops innovative technical solutions to strengthen our customers and partners in their market. The Lindal Group, headquarters in Hamburg - Germany, acquired 100% of the shares of Altachem NV in 2011. Altachem will become Lindal’s Center of Excellence for polyurethane valves and related developments. Being part of the Lindal Group organization, Altachem will continue to operate, as it has done so far, from its plant in Deinze, and with the same high level of attention and technical support to the customers. Jean-Marie Poppe has been appointed Managing Director of Altachem. In this role, he will also coordinate all the Sales activities of the Lindal Group for polyurethane foam applications. Also, starting from now, the R&D teams will work together and offer greater capabilities to support our customers with innovative packaging solutions. With Altachem joining the Lindal Group, our customers will benefit from: - A broader range of products. - A flexible and secured supply chain thanks to the availability of the polyurethane related products in several of our production sites. - New development opportunities by bringing together two strong R&D teams
