About Altadena Recovery Team (ART)
We are the Altadena Recovery Team (ART), a collective of four Black women born and raised in the Altadena and Pasadena area. Our mission is to create a space where our neighbors support one another, resources are shared, and the bonds of our community grow even stronger. Our vision is to restore hope, strength, and unity in our community following the devastation of the Eaton Fire and other natural disasters. In the wake of the Eaton Fire, we recognized the need for long-term recovery efforts that not only focus on rebuilding homes, but also on restoring the spirit of the community. We fulfill this need and our mission by providing direct aid and relief to community members through our donation and distribution pop ups and delivery services.
