About Altertek - Battery Specialists
Altertek specialise in designing Lithium Ion battery systems for a range of applications such as motorsport, rail, aviation, sub-sea, automotive and many more. We create many of our systems from the ground up including PCB and Embedded Firmware design, Mechanical and high current path design integration. We specialise in the bespoke and unusual having created ultra light, high output battery systems MOTO GP racebikes, high reliability Battery Management Systems for robots, high altitude BMS for UAVs, and even 800V 180kW systems for underwater use. Altertek is a collection of driven and talented individuals who share a common goal of contributing towards an all-electric future. Our real passion and expertise is in all things Battery Powered. The prospect of a future with vehicles producing no emissions and noise is something we really want to be part of. As a result, we have built up a huge wealth of knowledge surrounding Li-Ion Technology and really enjoy creating new products for our clients or helping them implement our home grown solutions. What makes us really unique is our flexibility. New ideas in no way scare us, quite the opposite! We enjoy working with a vast array of clients and their unique requirements that really push the boundaries of this technology.
