About AltruYouth Association
A non-profit organization based in Delta, BC. The mission of this organization is to provide mentorship and stability to secondary school students, as well as work with homeless shelters in the Lower Mainland in order to Aid the underprivileged. What We Do: Connect: The mentorship initiative. We work alongside students to advise and answer their questions based on personal experiences. This includes mentoring younger students on topics such as career-advice, academics, volunteering and bullying/ personal issues. Empower: Homelessness initiative launched alongside the homeless shelter, Hyland house. We go out to aid the underprivileged by giving out food and hosting workshops in an effort to help them better themselves. Inspire: General volunteer opportunities provided by the AltruYouth Association and our partners. These include volunteering at fundraisers and community events through organizations such as the BC Children's Hospital Foundation, Canadian Blood Services, Dristhi Awards, and numerous other local organizations.
