About Alumni Association of the Lycée Français de New York

The Alumni Association of the Lycée Français de New York, Inc (the AALFNY) operates independently of the Lycée and is run solely by volunteer alumni. Our mission is to bring together the larger community of current and former students, faculty, and staff. We recognize that we share a rare bilingual academic experience. We promote interaction among the different members of the community through initiatives such as our online Newsletter, an E-mail Directory, and its related Find-a-Classmate service, and Class Reunions. We support the activities of the Lycée's Board of Trustees, faculty and students when and where appropriate. Every former student is automatically a member of the Association, and can freely partake of our services. The AALFNY receives no financial support from the Lycée and we rely entirely on the voluntary time, energy, talent and financial contributions of our only constituency --the alumni. The Association was incorporated in 1964 as a New York not-for-profit corporation. We also have a very strict privacy policy that restricts the sharing of email address information to former students and staff of the school.
