About Alzheimer Café Isle of Wight
An Alzheimer Café is a meeting place providing informal education about dementia, guidance and signposting to other services. We welcome people with dementia, their families, carers, professionals and anyone with an interest in dementia. Alzheimer Café Daily will be a place where people can come together, meet socially in our café for a cuppa and light refreshments, and feel totally at ease because everybody there is “in the same boat”. It will be a place offering support for people both before and after receiving a diagnosis, a place for education and information where an engaging programme of daily activities can provide respite for carers, and a point of support when required, with no need to make an appointment.
