I work with publishers, and new and experienced writers in academia, large and small business, and arts and other nonprofits. I specialize in nonfiction and have worked on book projects in such fields as psychology, art, history, nursing, library science, spirituality, memoir, and prescriptive (“how to” or instructional) nonfiction, and more. I’ve also worked with authors to perfect essays and articles, websites and blog posts, white papers, dissertations, marketing materials, handbooks, manuals, and grant proposals. One of my favorite roles as a writer is talking with fascinating people about what they do. As an editor, I especially enjoy working with scholars and other professionals to make their expertise accessible to a general audience.
