About American Adventure Sports

Since its conception in 1997, American Adventure Sports has expanded to offer many other opportunities to share our passion for nature and activity including a children’s camp series, the Junior Naturalist Outdoor Adventure Camp Series, triathlons, marathons, ironmans, mudder events, a variety of clinics, academies and corporate events that have given thousands of individuals the chance to learn, grow, and improve their lives.In 2009, American Adventure Sports opened its first retail location in Indiana, PA. Crytzer would later partner with Ashley Reefer to expand the business and move its location to Greensburg, PA. The headquarter's move to Greensburg in 2012 saw the retail location expand to carry high-end outdoor gear including bicycles, skis, SUPs, and kayaks. The shop boasts Team BMC's former mechanic, Matt Thomas, as their main wrench for repairs and tune ups. In the winter of that year, the shop expanded to include ski sharpening and tune up services. Greensburg provided the company the space to expand our fully-functioning in-house video production branch, website and graphic design company, Gnarly Crew Media, as well with the goal of exposing the world to the thrill of adventure sports via televised programing.
