American Beauty is a Venice Steakhouse that takes inspiration from the classic American Steakhouse experience and translates it to the next generation of diners. Coming to the scene in September 2019 on Rose Avenue in Venice, CA, American Beauty transformed the cornerstone Venice Ranch Market building into an elegant dining room and bar with an expansive patio wrapped in twinkling lights. Chef Elisha Ben-Haim’s menu is equally as dependent on its interesting cuts of high-quality meats as it is on its light and local smalls and sides, abundant with vegetables and seafood in a way suited to their proximity to the ocean. The impressive selection of steaks include Prime and Dry Aged cuts from renowned Santa Carota, Creekstone Farms and Flannery Steaks. A high energy horseshoe bar houses their stand-out liquor selection and a creative cocktail program worthy of abandoning your typical steakhouse martini for something more mezcal. For the wine crowd, a fun and funky list of over 200 interesting selections includes a $10 “filled to the top” house wine pour that locals have come to know and love.
