American Electric Vehicles (AEV) is passionate about electric vehicles. We long ago concluded that the ideal electric vehicle must be designed from the ground up to maximize efficiency, reduce weight, and optimize component packaging and it should use the best available batteries, chargers, motors, and controllers. We also realized that the best market niche would be one where the vehicle could be driven a maximum of revenue miles per charge (intensity of use) within a predictable context.
