We are a fee-only financial planning firm in downtown Roanoke. We have been in business for 16 years and have built our business on the principles of trust, integrity, and competence. The most common compensation model in our field right now is the commission-based model. We differentiate our services by being 100% fee-only. This allows us to be impartial in our recommendations and to always seek your best interests. The legal term for always putting your interests above ours is “fiduciary.” Financial planning is the service whereby we ask you what your life-goals and dreams are, assess your entire financial standing, research and study your particular situation, and then give you recommendations in the form of an action plan. This plan takes into account all aspects of your financial health including investments, retirement, taxes, insurance, and estate planning. After we meet with you to discuss the action plan we help you to get it done! Why financial planning? Because even if you have a million dollar bank account, you may not be looking at the entire financial picture which leaves you susceptible to losing it all.
