About American Gulf School - Sharjah
The American Gulf School is an American IB Continuum School which delivers the American standards through the IB framework, we are the only school in Sharjah and northern Emirates with a full continuum implementation for the IB programmes, by offering PYP, MYP, DP and the CP in addition to the American High school Diploma. American Gulf School is accredited by COGNIA to offer the American High School Diploma. Our enriched curriculum encourages students to develop critical thinking skills, driven by inquiry that enables them to be happy and successful learners. The use of our STREAM, Media, Fabrication, and Design Labs give our learners the practice and experience to apply the knowledge and skills they are being taught to succeed within the 21st century. Our school offers language opportunities to our students as we added Chinese (Mandarin) / French. IB Continuum Schools share a commitment to improving the teaching and learning of a diverse and inclusive community of learners by delivering challenging, high-quality programs of international education. An IB education aims to transform students as they learn, through dynamic cycles of inquiry, action, and reflection.
