In the past year, American Latino Media, LLC has been working on a community platform designed to meet the needs of the growing English speaking Hispanic American community. The first fruit of this effort was released in November 2010. The beta version of the site combines editorial, advertising and social/ professional networking. Americanlatino.com’s goal is to promote a positive US Hispanic image and educate the general public by highlighting Hispanic contributions to American society. In such process, americanlatino.com aims to engage Hispanic Americans and the American public at large in meaningful dialogue to provide insight to the general public about the Hispanic experience in the United States. The site allows members to express opinions and offer an understanding of social, political and economic developments as they affect Americans of Hispanic or Latino origin. We are currently focused on content development and refining web design and functionality. We invite serious content (Writers) contributors who would like to become part of our growth and take ownership of our editorial sections. This is a fascinating opportunity for the right people.
