AMERICAN PHILANTHROPIC VENTURES ASSOCIATION was created to create an opportunity for philanthropic financial resources to make a more direct impact by funding exciting groundbreaking medical and environmental technologies. APVA is endeavoring to bridge this funding gap through showcasing the enterprises at regular meetings at convenient locations for our philanthropists. Our mission is to inspire the traditional philanthropic community to redirect a modest portion of charitable giving to these worthy enterprises to insure that life-altering technologies become commercially developed and available to those in need, whether in a major medical center or in a remote area of the world. Medical technology innovation is saving more lives each and every year and helps lower the overall cost of health care. Environmental technologies are doing more to save our precious and sensitive environmental ecosystems and will one day reverse the effect of the stressful demands of mankind on our planet.
