American Railcar Leasing LLC was formed in July 2004 as a subsidiary of American Railcar Industries, Inc. (ARI). American Railcar Leasing LLC acquired, via a series of transfer transactions between related companies, the railcars and related leases from ACF Industries LLC (ACF). The railcar leasing operations, which was transferred to ARL, has a history dating back to 1923. Today ARL owns over 25,000 tank and covered hopper cars and serves the petroleum, chemical, food, agriculture, fertilizer and plastic pellet markets. Our staff is committed to providing the highest level of service in our industry providing knowledge and optimal leasing solutions to all of our customers.
