About American ResQ

American ResQ 501(c)(3) was born from a shared commitment to serve. Our founders first crossed paths in Texas during the chaotic aftermath of Hurricane Harvey in August 2017. While they hadn’t known each other before, they quickly became a dedicated team, working side-by-side for a week to assist with rescue and relief efforts. This experience not only forged strong bonds but also inspired the formation of American ResQ as an official organization dedicated to mobilizing civilian volunteers, first responders, military personnel, and essential resources for disaster relief. Since our first mission in 2017, American ResQ has been actively engaged in a range of operations, from conducting rescue missions in the Florida Keys after Hurricane Irma to responding to Hurricane Florence in North Carolina in 2018. In 2021, our teams provided cleanup and road-clearing support in the aftermath of Hurricane Ida. Beyond these large-scale operations, we've also organized multiple fundraising and relief efforts across the country, ensuring communities receive the critical support they need. Our mission remains simple but vital: to coordinate local and national efforts that deliver immediate rescue, sustained support, and essential humanitarian aid to communities impacted by natural disasters.
