American Tanning & Leather LLC is America's oldest and largest exotic leather tannery and specializes in supplying the global luxury market with the very finest alligator and crocodile skins for handbags, garments, accessories, and shoes. Its clients include top fashion houses such as Ralph Lauren, Prada, Oscar de la Renta, Chanel, and Tom Ford. The 4th generation company is privately held by the Plott family and can trace its roots to 1923. The raw skin division is housed in the bayous of South Louisiana, and the tannery is based in Georgia, just south of Atlanta. Sales offices are located in Atlanta, Bologna, and Milan. American Tanning & Leather LLC has over 400 colors in its range and 12 unique finishes in American alligator, Nile crocodile, and Porosus crocodile. AMTAN's Partner in Europe is WHITELINE, srl. www.whiteline.it. In the Fall of 2013, Whiteline and AMTAN partnered to open a showroom and warehouse in Milan to better service clients and supply the very finest skins to the market. The warehouse offers customers the opportunity to hand-select skins with no minimums while still offering the options produce special finishes and colors that are made to order. Specialties: Reptile skins, exotic leather, American alligator skins, luxury leathers, crocodile skins, special finishes and colors available. Our sizes range from 20 cm up to 100+ cm, with all selections available from both wild and farm raised skins.
