About Aminostream

Aminostream (BioArm) is a start-up based on a universal & scalable proprietary technology allowing to prepare a wide range of synthetic ultra-high quality alpha-amino acids including C-alpha-methylated amino acids. The key point of this technology is that all amino acids are made from a universal chiral complex, which can be recovered and reused. Since Aminostream (BioArm) is a start-up, current production volumes generally are in the 10-25 g range with 100 g being the upper limit. Purity of the material is indeed exceptional - all products have undesired isomer content below 0.3% (perhaps with an exception of few specific and difficult cases). More than half of the products have ultra high purity with undesired isomer content at 0.01-0.03% level. At the moment our product portfolio consists of ca. 100 non-proteinogenic amino acids. However the technology allows for much more. By using various electrophiles in conjunction with the universal chiral scaffold we have access to a very wide range of amino acids, thousands of possible structures, including novel ones i.e. new chemical entities.
