About Among the Rubble Collective

We are Among the Rubble—voices in the silence, hearts in the debris, and souls united in compassion. The name of the collective was suggested by a Palestinian friend Mohammed who lives among the rubble in Gaza, Palestine. Started as a group of people, virtually and on the ground in Gaza, with a shared vision of hope and strong sense of responsibility, we extend hands of support to those who have lost everything, believing in the inherent dignity of every individual. Realizing the immense task upon us, and that many of us were doing much of the same work, Noor got everyone together and we created the collective to serve the people of the Gaza Strip. Together, we figured out how to raise money for crowdfunding campaigns, evacuate families from the Gaza strip, deliver mutual aid, and even became friends and family along the way. Together, amidst the rubble, we make a difference—one heart, one soul, one act of kindness at a time. Join us in our efforts to advocate for and advance Palestinian causes.
