About AMOR Healing Kitchen
AMOR Healing Kitchen is a non-profit organization that believes in the power of food in creating a healthier community. Since 2018, AMOR has been providing nutritious, healthy food made with love by teen volunteers for people facing critical health challenges. In those five years, we have made and served over 45,000 meals to 400 clients. All of our clients are experiencing some type of health challenge and a majority of them are receiving the meals at no cost. In the last year, the number of weekly clients we are serving locally sourced, organic, plant-based meals has tripled. We are preparing between 300-400 meals each week, plus a snack and dessert for each client. Fresh flower bouquets are lovingly arranged and the call is made to our Delivery Angels to bring the food right to our clients' front doors. The word is out that there is healing in our services. From our clients: "Please share with your team how “blown away” I was with our first delivery. I saw our angel standing there with flowers and teared up immediately.
