Fondata nel 1960 con la denominazione Assocomaplast, AMAPLAST, associazione senza scopo di lucro, raggruppa circa 170 importanti costruttori italiani di macchine, attrezzature e stampi per la lavorazione di plastica e gomma. AMAPLAST promotes worldwide the Italian technology for plastics and rubber processing, at the top of the world market in terms of production and export. AMAPLAST is part of CONFINDUSTRIA, FEDERMACCHINE (Italian Federation of Associations of Manufacturers of capital goods) and joins the European Association of plastics and rubber machiner manufacturers (EUROMAP). Through its commercial company Promaplast srl, the Association publishes the technical magazine MACPLAS: www.macplas.it.
