About AmRhein's
AmRhein's is the Roanoke Valley's oldest jeweler, having started in 1921 in downtown Roanoke. The location changed over the years, resting now with a fine jewelry store on Ogden Road in Roanoke and on West Main Street in Salem. AmRhein's offers a wide variety of fine jewelry including Pandora, Hot Diamonds, Jorge Revilla, ArtCarved Diamonds, and their own exclusive Roanoke & Salem Charm Collection. They have a Master Jeweler on staff that can recreate jewelry or design a unique piece for the discerning customer. In 1992, the company expanded to offer more for brides with their brides & formals division. This full service bridal and formal wear offers wedding gowns, bridesmaids and mother dresses, tuxedos, wedding favors, shoes, purses, veils and headpieces, special occasion dresses for Prom, Homecoming, and any cocktail party or black tie gala. AmRhein's is the exclusive retailer of Maggie Sottero and Sottero & Midgley bridal gowns, and features many other designer lines. In the late 1990s, Russ Amrhein pursued his passion of farming and wine by planting the first grapes on Bent Mountain. In 1999, the first AmRhein's Wines were produced and the tasting room opened in 2000. The winery now boasts 3 vineyards, 15+ wines, and annual VA, national and international awards. The winery's vineyard and tranquil pond offer a picturesque venue for events from weddings, receptions, rehearsals and luncheons to family reunions and corporate retreats. AmRhein's.
