About Amsterdam School of International Business
Welcome to Amsterdam School of International Business (AMSIB) AMSIB as part of Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences located at the Faculty of Economics and Management offers English taught Bachelor of Business Administration programmes. Welcoming students from all over the world the business school prepares its students for the every changing business world by seeking out strategic education partners and actively reaching out and connecting to the international business community. Honouring a tradition in business studies that goes back to 1846 we offer business education, focusing on an extensive network at home and abroad of 110 partner universities. Every year some 3,000 students take one of our four or three year bachelor programmes from general economics to more specialist programmes, some of which are taught entirely in English and hosted at the International Business School. These programmes offer a variety of options to study and pursue placements abroad. In addition we have a centre for applied research (CAREM), which links our research and education with the business world. Business Community Our business partners make a contribution to our education by being involved in our programmes, for instance through practical case studies, guest lecturers or placements. Moreover the International Business Advisory Board partners consisting of amongst others ABN AMRO, IDEXX, General Electrics and Philips review and advise on our curricula. In doing so our business partners will be contributing to the development of our students. Not only will they be able to promote the business amongst our students, but our students can also put their up-to-date knowledge and often innovative ideas into practice.
