About Amuno Rural Hub
Amuno Rural Hub is an award-winning community-based and youth-led nonprofit working to empower rural children to thrive through safety, learning, and life skills. Based in Bukedea District, Eastern Uganda, we serve children and youth aged 3 to 18 with programs that tackle the real barriers they face every day, from limited access to quality education and healthcare to hunger and poverty. We believe every child, no matter where they’re born, deserves a chance to dream, learn, and lead. That’s why we offer holistic, play-based learning programs that improve literacy, numeracy, STEM skills, and life skills using a Teaching at the Right Level methodology. We also run youth-led clubs, provide nutritious meals, support school fees, and engage families through income-generating and economic empowerment initiatives. Since 2022, Amuno has reached over 3,700 children and 140 families with the help of passionate local youth, volunteers, and partners. We use a hands-on, community-first approach, integrating local games, culture, and practical training to create safe and joyful spaces where children can grow. We are proud to be recognized for our grassroots impact and are always open to collaboration. Whether you're an educator, donor, advocate, or just someone who believes in equality for all children, we’d love to connect. Let’s build a future where rural children are not left behind. 🌍 https://amuno.org/ 📧 info@amuno.org 📍 Bukedea District, Uganda
