About An Nasiha

An Nasiha is a voluntary organisation with an important aim: to help people keep firm or reinstate their connection with Islam and build bridges within the wider community. Founded in 2011, it has since been run by a team of young professionals. Through their efforts An Nasiha has managed to hold public events in mosques and community centres up and down the UK with many renowned as well as upcoming scholars coming from all over the country and participating. An Nasiha has been involved in many community initiatives such as Feeding the homeless on cold evenings in winter, distributing winter care packages for the homeless. Distributing roses within the city centre marking the birth of the Prophet upon him be peace. Distributing Dates within the city centre marking the start of the holy month of Ramadan Giving gifts to patients at Bluebell Wood Hospice, the Sheffield Children’s hospital, St Luke’s Hospice & Weston Park Hospital. Donation of Qur’an cubes to Hospitals within South Yorkshire for terminally ill patients. Eid Gifts for children in Yemen, Syria, Gambia, Bangladesh. Rehabilitation support for Muslim prisoners. Food packages for the victims of the Pakistan floods amongst many others. It has been endorsed by the likes of great scholars. We welcome everyone to come and benefit from our events and projects and give back to the community they are a part of. The work does not stop there. An Nasiha also has their own magazine called the An Nasiha Quarterly. In it, one can find interesting articles on contemporary issues written by knowledgeable and engaging scholars. It also includes reports on events and seminars that have taken place. Fun activities such as football tournaments have also been organised to bring in the youth and teach them about Islam whilst simultaneously enjoy the day out.
