All the social sciences— psychology, sociology, anthropology, economics, political science— exist to find answers for our many needs. Now we have a social science to study and better understand the needs themselves. ANANKELOGY IN THREE DIMENSIONS 'Ananke' is the classical Greek word for need. Adding 'logos' for the study of, anankelogy is simply the study of need. Current social studies exist to serve our needs, so now we focus on understanding the needs themselves. Anankelogy exists for you on three levels: • academic anankelogy as a research social science, • applied anankelogy as an applied science to our many needs, and • accessible anankelogy as an easier to understand version. The Anankelogy Foundation, with support from loving folks like you, aims to spark an organic need-responsive, love-spreading movement committed to resolve more needs, remove more pain, and restore more wellness. Our ambitious aims: 1. Introduce the world to anankelogy's revolutionary potential. 2. Grow a community of credentialed need-responders. 3. Together, build this new profession of need-response.
