Anderson & Anderson LLP, is an international law firm, long established, having offices and associated offices in the USA, China, HK, Macau, Mongolia, Tel-Aviv and Mumbai. Its attorneys started work in Asia in 1963, and established their first Asian offices in 1972, when David Buxbaum became the first American attorney to represent clients in China. It was the first foreign firm, operating in Ulaanbaatar, after Mongolia's independence. The firm achieved leading IP infringement and anti-piracy victories in courts in Asia on behalf of foreign software, trademark, patent and literary publishers. Intellectual property registration and protection are a significant part of the firm's work in Asia. Anderson & Anderson helped draft and register the first joint venture insurance company in China. It assisted in the first public offering of securities of a Mongolian bank on the Singapore Stock Exchange. The firm has a major energy mining and real estate practise and has handled numerous corporate finance transactions, major loan agreements and leasing tranactions, including aircraft leasing.
