The company was founded in 1991 and over two decades has grown to become the largest network of anesthesia providers in the Midwest. Our anesthesia providers are cross –credentialed and can move between multiple sites; allowing real-time staffing that directly matches each facility's needs. This means our Hospital and ASC partners are no longer forced to staff for peak volume. Our right-sized staffing works in real time to cover peaks in surgical volume and redirect talent to other facilities during slow periods. From the beginning, Anesthesia Staffing Consultants specialized in helping facilities manage fluctuations in surgical volume; first, as a Locum Tenens company supplying staff primarily to the "Thumb" area of Michigan, and soon thereafter managing anesthesia for the proliferation of ASC startups. Today, Anesthesia Staffing Consultants provides flexible and reliable anesthesia coverage for Hospitals and Surgery Centers across the Midwest.
