About Angel Guardians

The mission of Angel Guardians, Inc. is to improve the quality of life for teens and adults with intellectual disabilities in the areas of housing, employment, fitness, socialization and recreation. Board of Directors The board is made up of qualified community leaders from diverse backgrounds passionately committed to the common goal of improving the quality of life for people with developmental disabilities. Angel Guardians Angel Guardians, Inc. works diligently to help put the puzzle pieces of life together for teenagers and adults with cognitive and developmental disabilities. While many opportunities and programs exist for children with special needs, many families discover a void as the children reach maturity. Angel Guardians was created to enrich the lives of these exceptional individuals through adulthood. Angel Guardians is a Nebraska 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization that is committed to: • Providing services that support and nurture an environment in which individuals with developmental disabilities are able to continually enhance life skills, self-sufficiency and self esteem. • Fostering and maintaining high standards of everyday living for developmentally disabled adults by providing unique and exciting choices for training and instruction through our AngelWorks Career Center, Hand Me-Ups Thrift Store and Used Furniture Store. • Stimulating public interest in advocating for increased opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities. • Affiliation and cooperation with programs, agencies and organizations which share similar objectives. Angel Guardians, Inc. strives to be a leader in providing services and supporting our community in an effort to solve problems that many families of special needs individuals face on a daily basis.
