About Ania Axenova - Paris

Illustrator and freelance Art Director for over 15 years, Ania has always been passionate about fabrics, sewing and fashion. In 2015, she decided to take the move and creates her first collection of woollen shawls. Her Moscow origins and Parisian influences are reflected in her designs and choice of materials: she wants her shawls beautiful and warm. She establishes only one rule: the drawing must work from any angle. Whether the shawl is carefully folded or worn nonchalantly, the design must remain readable. These are not just “picture scarves”, but real ornaments that tell a story. To complete the experience, Ania writes a tale for each design and prints it on a beautiful booklet to be slipped into each box. The first two collections were only sold on the brand’s website, but for Fall-Winter 2019, Ania Axenova decides to open up to the world with this new range, made up of three materials: wool and cashmere, modal and silk, and silk twill. All designs are created by hand and printed in the Como region of Italy.
