Mission: Though beloved pets, we help people in crisis ,aiding people who would not ask for help for themselves, but for their beloved pets, We build community resiliency, though our Arizona partnerships and coalitions! We have two sides: Animal - and Human. In July 2018, the AZ. Corporation Commission, accepted our name change to "Animals and Humans in Disaster". housing "Cooperative Collaboration Coalition". Empty Bowl Pet Food Pantry/PATCHES, is a DBA division. Our other division is "America, R U Prepared" (.org).. As an official FEMA unit through AZ State Health Dept., (https://mrc.hhs.gov/MrcUnits/UnitDetails/2473), when there are natural disasters in all 15 Counties in Arizona. We work with coalitions/partnerships with non-profits,churches, food banks, and leaders. We found pockets of humans, who needed special help, serving over 6,200 people in our many groups! Special Services/Programs: > For Veterans ,Disaster and Domestic Violence victims, help for all pet species with pet food/items. >For functionally disabled, we give high quality pet food and treats.The pets don't get upset stomach, diarrhea and they eliminate less, which is less for the mobility challenged to clean up! > Help severely chronically ill/dying, keep their beloved pets as long as possible. > When blessed with community/business support, we are able to help rescues. especially rural rescues that don't have access to resources. > Donated Veterinary pet food that donated, we help rescues that help seniors, sick/injured, and disabled animals that otherwise would be euthanized. >Education, preparedness,mitigation for disasters, safety and health through real crisis response service.
