About ANITA - Italian Road Freight Transport and Logistics Association

Founded in 1944, ANITA is the association of Confindustria (General Confederation of Italian Industry) that represents road haulage and logistics companies operating in Italy and Europe. The companies associated with ANITA are the most solid entrepreneurial realities in the trucking and logistics sector that generate two thirds of the entire volume of road transported goods. ANITA, through Transfrigoroute Italia, adheres to and represents TRANSFRIGOROUTE INTERNATIONAL - the European association for the transport of food products that groups operators, manufacturers and fitters of vehicles and refrigeration equipment. ANITA is also one of the employers who sign the national collective employment agreement for the freight, logistics and shipping sector in Italy. The Association also takes care of publications, promotes conferences and studies, collects data on the transport of goods, participates in the activities of other associations and institutes in which the road transport and logistics sectors are involved. ANITA supports business growth policies in harmony with the objectives of greater efficiency combined with respect for the environment, legality and safety, promoting the development of intermodal transport. The association is committed to ensuring that Italian road haulage can have the conditions to compete at a European level and positively affect the definition of transport policies, promotes the harmonization of the regulations of the European States to ensure fair and equal competitive conditions for all operators in the Union.
