In partnership with Christian families, Ann Arbor Christian School offers Christ-centered, academically excellent education that challenges students to live and act in society as committed followers of Jesus Christ. Our vision is to transform new generations of students who use their minds, hearts, hands, and feet to be culture makers for Jesus Christ. At Ann Arbor Christian School, we want to engage and challenge every student from Preschool through high school to aim high and to achieve more. Academic excellence refers to our desire to provide a holistic educational experience that highly promotes individual growth and emphasizes the entirety of a child as a unique and cherished creation of God. It refers to the drive and challenge of the school to foster the attainment of each student’s God-given potential through a high-quality curriculum taught by talented and dedicated teachers. We recognize that everyone lives their lives based on a set of beliefs and values that governs their worldview and how they respond to the world. AACS promotes an education that examines all areas of learning through the lens of the historic Christian faith. We seek to help raise the next generation of Daniels and Esthers - young men and women who, in the face of tremendous pressures and cultural changes around them, will hold firmly to their faith and convictions and employ them in a way that serves to enlighten, love, and transform the world we live in: as continuing students, as future parents, as developing leaders in their workplaces, academia, and government, and as caretakers of Creation.
