Ann-Morris Inc. was established in 1947 in New York City, and is one of the premier destinations for the design trade. The advent of the 70s brought about a generational change to A-M when the company began to specialize in custom lighting fixtures, pot racks, bar stools and a variety of reproduction fixtures produced by the most experienced and talented craftsmen. A-M prides itself on having worked with the world’s leading Architects and Designers for three generations, thus laying the foundation for valuable partnerships which continue to this day. MATERIALS, MANUFACTURING AND DESIGN After decades of traveling to Europe and acquiring unique antique furniture and lighting, Ann-Morris' second generation director, Herbie Schinderman, developed the manufacturing/design side of the business. Working closely with some of the finest craftsmen, Herbie designed and created a distinct collection of custom lighting fixtures and hanging pot racks. The design and development of Ann-Morris fixtures have revolved around their production in various metals. A-M excels at mastering plating and finishing as well as a significant quality control process. CUSTOM LIGHTING During the late 1970s Ann-Morris Inc. began designing and developing a line of custom lighting fixtures made by some of the finest New York craftsmen. Experiencing a high demand for antique lighting in the late 70s, our second generation director, Herbie Schinderman, designed and produced custom lighting which complimented the vintage lighting imported from Europe. Ann-Morris Inc. offers an extensive selection of custom light fixtures where a variety of options are available both in style and plating. CUSTOM POT RACKS Ann-Morris Inc. has the distinction of designing and producing one of the most unique and beautifully crafted pot rack collections. Each individual Pot Rack is "made to order," crafted to the client's specifications.
